Since its opening in 1973, Glendale Golf Course has been regarded as one of the finest 18-hole public courses in the state. Glendale offers well-maintained large greens with lake and wetland lined fairways that attract an abundance of waterfowl.
Glendale Golf Course, designed by William Bell Jr., features one of the best finishing holes in the state - a par-4 that measures 459 yards from the blue tees. Total yardage from the back tees is 6,939, with a par of 72 for men and 73 for women. Three lakes and the Jordan River add intrigue to several holes.
Glendale Golf Course's ninth green offers panoramic views of the state capitol building and the downtown Salt Lake City skyline. Other scenery includes the Wastach and Oquirrh Mountains.
